나는 중개인으로서 역설의 또는 대립적인 관계들을 엮어낸다. 또한 이 ‘엮음’의 과정은 내 몸의 피로가 최고조에 이를 때까지 반복되는 노동 그 자체인 것 같다. 마치 다시는 마주하지 않을 것 같은 두 친구를 화해시키기 위해 갖은 방법을 골몰하듯이 나는 최선을 다해서 선을 긋고 실을 꿰고 허공에 색을 입힌다.
As an intermediary, I intertwine these paradoxical or opposing concepts in my work. This weaving process is both mental and physical, and is repeated until my body’s fatigue reaches its peak. As I would do my best to reconcile two friends who might never meet again, I also exert my utmost effort to draw lines, sew threads, and paint them in the air.
