Dear Friends,

Warm greetings as we welcome the height of summer and the arrival of August.

When Lee & Lee Gallery opened its doors with Show #1 in October 2003, we could not have imagined that we would one day celebrate our 23rd anniversary. Throughout these years, countless artists, collectors, patrons, and friends have walked this journey alongside us, and for that we are deeply grateful.

Each exhibition has brought its own unique stories and unforgettable moments. Some have filled us with great joy, while others have moved us beyond words. Yet after every exhibition closed and another began, there was always a lingering thought: Could we do more? Could we serve our community in a deeper and more meaningful way?

These questions have continually guided us.

Our hope has always been that an art exhibition would be more than a celebration for artists or a gathering for a select few. We have long believed that art should become a part of everyday life—something that invites everyone to experience, appreciate, and connect through creativity.

It is with that vision in mind that we are delighted to introduce the Lee & Lee Gallery Newsletter, a new space where we can share our exhibitions, ideas, and stories with you more closely than ever before.

The years surrounding the pandemic brought many unexpected challenges. There were moments when the obstacles of operating the gallery felt overwhelming, and I wondered whether it was time to quietly step away. Yet during those difficult days, I was sustained by the kindness, encouragement, prayers, and heartfelt support of so many people. Your generosity gave both the gallery and me the strength to move forward once again. For that, I offer my deepest and most sincere gratitude.

Through this newsletter, we hope to share exhibition highlights, gallery news, selections from our permanent collection, thoughtful essays, and other stories from the world of art. Our goal is to provide meaningful and enriching content that enhances your cultural life while creating a vibrant community where art continues to inspire conversation and connection.

Today, we take another step forward.

The fact that Lee & Lee Gallery has been able to remain a place for art and community for the past twenty-three years is entirely because of your unwavering encouragement and support. Thank you for believing in us and walking this journey together.
